It was bound to happen eventually. I’ve been collecting individual beer bottles that I liked for the last couple years and they started to take up a ton of space. I would save one beer bottle from each new beer that I tried and it needed to have a somewhat interesting label. I had some pretty rare bottles but I didn’t know what to do with them. Eventually, I had to stop saving the bottles because we had nowhere to put them. They filled up half our cupboards and took up all the counter space. I couldn’t come up with a good place to store them and there’s not really a very good reason to save them… Well… We bought a new house and we could have spent hours packing them all and trying to find a new place to store them, OR I could come up with a better idea… I wasn’t happy about it but I decided to take a picture of the bottles and throw them away. I did keep a few really special bottles but threw the rest away. In total, I threw away 215 bottles and almost every single one was unique. I’m sad to see them go but at least I have a picture to remember them by. It’s just a crappy cell phone picture but at least it’s something!
